The Luxembourg Garden … this peaceful haven in the heart of Paris invites to you enjoy a relaxing stroll. You can visit the Palais du Luxembourg, the former home of Marie de Medici which now houses the French Senate.

Located on the Montagne Sainte Geneviève, the Pantheon, originally built in the 18th century as a church, now honours public figures and events that marked the history of France.

On the pediment, you can read the words:  "Aux grands hommes, la France reconnaissante" (For great men, the grateful nation). Among them are Pierre and Marie Curie, Voltaire, Jean-Jacques Rousseau and Victor Hugo.

Saint Germain des Prés has always had a particular charm, whose mystery never ceases to amaze and inspire a wide range of authors. It’s yours to discover!
