Trade shows in Paris this September; appointments not to be missed

After a summer that is all about holidays we slip into September, and Paris is once again at the forefront for flagship fairs involving professionals, fashion lovers and the latest trends. The season begins strongly with a wide-ranging selection of six major international trade shows. Covering sectors such as gastronomy, jewellery, home design and related products, weddings, and clothing and fashion, these events are sure to provide plenty of interest and opportunity.

The best of gastronomy

The Mer et Vigne (Sea and Vine) trade fair will be at the Parc Floral de Paris Vincennes from September 8th to 11th. This event came about because a Bordeaux wine and cooking enthusiast was eager to share his passion. More than 80% of this year’s exhibitors will be producers and/or manufacturers, thereby honouring the concept of direct supply. This 15th edition brings together 140 exhibitors, artisans, producers, and breeders, inviting you to taste the best of French gastronomy

The essential gathering of jewellery professionals

Over the same weekend, at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre, you’ll find the world’s leading gathering of jewellery professionals. BIJORHCA is an international trade fair and the only one in France devoted exclusively to the world of jewellery. Nearly 400 exhibitors, from the major brands to young designers, welcome around 12,000 visitors, from retailers to e-commerce professionals and those who are simply interested in this fascinating field.

Buying and selling; a world of business opportunities

Also over the same weekend, buyers and sellers from around the world meet at the Parc Expo du Bourget for the Tradexpo trade fair. About a hundred importers and international suppliers come to present their products and stock clearance items and meet their future buyers. Interior decoration, home textiles, toys, fashion, luggage, small electrical appliances and more. A wide choice is offered to buyers.

Design and the art of living

From September 8th to 12th, MAISON & OBJET invites professionals in the field of lifestyle trends, interior decoration and design to meet at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre. This trade show offers the perfect opportunity to keep on top of evolving consumer trends, and discover the latest innovations while making important new business contacts.

Preparing for your wedding day

The Salon du Mariage is held on September 16th and 17th at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre. More than 200 exhibitors will be present. Decorators, caterers, wedding planners and many more professionals come together for the event and offer a rich range of possibilities for creating the ideal tailor-made wedding day. This is the perfect place to find your wedding dress. Prepare for the most beautiful day of your life.

Creativity and innovation in the service of fashion

As we begin to be enfolded in the mellow and fruitful embrace of autumn, the capital invites all fashion professionals to meet up and create future collaborations. Before the start of Paris Fashion Week, the world of fashion turns its spotlight on a global event for those involved in this industry. Taking place at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre from September 19th to 21st, Première Vision is the world's leading trade fair of its kind, where some 1900 fashion professionals meet. Yarns, fabrics, leather, designs, accessories and manufacturing are at the heart of the event. The major industries that supply materials and services to the global fashion industry come together in Paris, where styles and trends are born.
